A Montana Barn Raising | Post & Beam Barn Kit

It was an adventure for our crew as they headed west to raise this 30' x 54' custom post & beam barn kit in the heart of Montana. Nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains, there was no shortage of inspiring scenery for the crew as they raised the barn timber by timber. Each wood connection—specially crafted in our Connecticut shop by talented craftsmen and exacting CNC machines—was assembled onsite and secured with oak pegs in place of nails. The entire barn is authentic timber frame, from the timber sill all the way up to the roof rafters. Metal fasteners, used where needed by code, were hidden in the final build. By the end of the week, the timber frame was standing and ready for the next steps: SIP insulation, roofing, siding, doors & windows to complete this post & beam barn kit.
