One of the best reasons to choose The Barn Yard is that we have our own build crews. Our crews have been busy this spring building barns, garages, and pavilions all over New England. Here's some recently built highlights.

Almost 400 people from all over New England, plus New York, New Jersey, and even as far away as Colorado and Canada, came to the third annual Open House at Great Country Timber Frames in Ellington, CT on January 20^th.

Our Open House is fast approaching. As we count down the days in anticipation, we can't wait to share our passion for timber framing with you. We thought we'd compile some of the most interesting photos of our timber frame facility & recent projects as a sort of "appetizer" if you will for the big event on January 20, 2018.

You're invited! We're hosting our third annual open house at Great Country Timber Frames on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9am - 1pm. Tour our advanced manufacturing facility and watch us cut a timber frame Carriage Barn on our CNC machine.

This afternoon, we welcomed the family of Gunnery Sergeant Thomas J. Sullivan and the Mayor of Springfield, Domenic Sarno, to our manufacturing & design facility in Ellington, CT. Tommy gave his life while defending his country on Thursday July 16, 2015 during an attack on a Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN. The Skinner Family, owners of The Barn Yard & Great Country Timber Frames, have donated a timber frame pavilion to be built at Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Sullivan Park, a new park currently under construction in East Forest Park, Springfield, MA. Mayor Sarno and Tommy's family were able to view the pavilion being manufactured on The Barn Yard & Great Country Timber Frame's state of the art CNC machine.

We're proud to have the most skilled, professional, and experienced build crew around. They are all our employees, not subcontractors.
