BETHEL CT - The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages announces the winner of its tractor giveaway. Bill R. of New Milford, CT is the winner of a new John Deere D105 Riding Lawnmower Tractor. Bill purchased a 10' x 12' Classic Cape shed from The Barn Yard at the Big E in September. The shed and lawn tractor were delivered today.

Bethel is beautiful all the time. However, at dusk, it really comes to life. The setting sun highlights the trees and stony hill overlooking the showcase location as the building lights splash light on the sides and porch. Following are photos of Bethel at dusk on the evening of September 4.

Take a look back on our blog at some of our earlier posts about Bethel. It's hard to believe that only a short while ago, there was nothing on our new lot. One nail at a time, we've built what you see today. As we draw near our Grand Opening on Saturday, September 7, our excitement builds, as we hope yours does too. Now we just have finishing touches and then we're ready to welcome our valued customers into our new office. Until then, you're more than welcome to visit us and take a look around the 7-acre lot. While you're there, stop in and talk to Mark or John in the temporary office, to the left of the main office. Happy trails!

Where the sophistication of the East meets the inspired design of the West, you'll find our new Bethel showcase location. Reclaimed beams from old barns were used to create the siding of the new office. The building is now mostly sided in clapboard siding that was cut down from the reclaimed barn wood. Rusted metal, stone work, and timber framing complete the western look. Click to see more pictures and experience Bethel as it stands today.

Looking to get a glimpse of the layout of our new showcase location in Bethel? Look no further.

The crew was at it early this morning. They've already assembled the timber frame front and rear porches on the new Bethel office. It all fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Also complete is the Timber Frame Pavilion between the office and the Newport display garage.
