A 70' timber frame octagon took shape on the beach in Salisbury, MA by the hands of our talented crew, who had an awesome time putting this frame together. In just 1 week, we had the frame standing and the crew smiling, proud of another exceptional project in the books. This timber frame will be home to a historic carousel on the Salisbury Beach boardwalk.

This 26' x 60' Carriage Barn with 14' Lean-To makes a spacious recreational hall for Oxford Academy in Westbrook, CT.

Conferences in this building inspire the participants with the intricate, authentic, and interesting timber frame structure. Spanning 24' wide with no center posts, and at 60' long, the structure is large enough to also accommodate a lunch room.

From Great Country Timber Frames-It was an epic raising day at the new Fenton River Veterinary Hospital in Stafford, CT. Despite the cold and snowy conditions, our world class timber framing crew assembled and raised these massive douglas fir hammer beam style bents. This new space will be the reception and waiting area for the new Fenton River Veterinary Hospital.

From Great Country Timber Frames-It's raising day at the Revolution Hall project near Boston, MA. Watch our world class timber framers raise a 4,500 square foot commercial restaurant facility in just 2 days. The timbers are massive. The frame is complex. Parallel chord trusses, key beam posts, glulam rafters. Come along for the ride on this epic timber frame raising!

The expert timber framers at Great Country Timber Frames built one of the largest clear span timber frame structures in New England: a 70' Timber Frame Octagon for a 50' antique carousel at Sonny's Place in Somers, CT. Host Everett Skinner IV, P.E. tells the story of design, manufacturing, and construction as the massive structure is built on site by the Great Country Timber Frames crew.

The Barn Yard built the new Eastern States Farmers Market Barn adjacent to the popular Wine Barn at the Big E, and also built a Curved Roof Timber Frame Pavilion between the buildings to house the new Wine Café. The new additions more than double the space for sampling & purchasing New England's finest wines, cheeses, handmade wool items, and farm-to-table products.

Built at GreatHorse in Hampden, MA, this 4,000 sq. ft. Driving Range Lodge makes a statement on the course.

A lot's changed at our New Manufacturing & Design Facility since our last blog post. The exterior of the building is now complete and the landscaping is going in. Inside, the drywall is up and timber frame accents are in place.
